Questions

Everything worth asking, answered plainly.

If your question is not here, telephone us. We would far rather talk it through than leave anything to assumption.

How far in advance should I book?+

For the principal fixtures — Royal Ascot, Wimbledon, Henley and the Grand Prix — we ask for six to nine months' notice, as chauffeurs and standby cars are committed early. Shorter notice is often possible; call us and we will tell you honestly what remains.

What does a day's chauffeur service include?+

A named, professionally vetted chauffeur, an immaculate vehicle for the full day, reconnoitred routing around road closures, all-day standby at or near the ground, luggage and refreshment handling, and an unhurried departure whenever you are ready.

Do you cover airport and private-terminal collections?+

Yes. We meet scheduled flights at Heathrow, Gatwick, City and the regional airports, and handle private-terminal handovers at Farnborough, Biggin Hill and Luton, with flight tracking and waiting time included.

Can you obtain enclosure badges and tickets?+

We assist with Royal Enclosure badges, Centre Court debentures, Paddock Club passes and hospitality where availability and membership rules allow. We are always straightforward about what can and cannot be secured.

What areas do you cover?+

The whole of the United Kingdom. We are London-based, but chauffeurs travel to Aintree, Goodwood, St Andrews, Edinburgh, the Isle of Wight and anywhere else the season takes you.

How are your chauffeurs vetted?+

Every chauffeur is licensed, insured, background-checked and personally known to us. They are briefed on each venue's access arrangements and on the discretion expected of them.

Are your vehicles marked?+

No. Vehicles carry no branding of any kind, and chauffeurs do not display name boards unless you ask for one at an airport meeting point.

How do you handle confidentiality?+

We never disclose client names, itineraries or destinations. Chauffeurs and office staff are bound by confidentiality undertakings, and we do not photograph clients or vehicles in service.

What is a season retainer?+

A standing arrangement that gives you first call on our diary, the same chauffeur throughout the summer, concierge hours and one monthly invoice. Tiers are set out on the Membership page.

How do you take payment?+

By bank transfer against an invoice. Single fixtures are settled before the date; retained clients are invoiced monthly in arrears.

What if my plans change?+

Tell us as early as you can. Notice periods and any charges are set out in our Booking Terms, and we will always try to move a date rather than cancel it.

Do you arrange helicopter arrivals?+

Where the venue permits landing, yes — including Goodwood, Silverstone and Ascot. We coordinate the operator, the landing slot and the car waiting on the other side.
