Plain terms, set out before you commit. Anything particular to your occasion is agreed in writing alongside them.
Prestige Occasions is a private chauffeur, chaperone and event concierge service operating throughout the United Kingdom, founded in London in 2025. In these terms "we" and "us" mean Prestige Occasions, and "you" means the person or company placing the booking.
Quotations are given for the specific dates, vehicles, hours and services described, and are valid for fourteen days unless stated otherwise. Fixtures with unconfirmed 2027 dates are quoted provisionally and reconfirmed once organisers publish them.
A booking is confirmed when we acknowledge it in writing and any deposit has cleared. Single fixtures are settled in full before the date of service; retained clients are invoiced monthly. Payment is by bank transfer. Overdue invoices may attract statutory interest.
Please give as much notice as possible. Where a date can be moved rather than cancelled, we will do so without penalty wherever our diary allows. Cancellations made within fourteen days of the date of service may be charged in part or in full, because chauffeurs, vehicles and third-party arrangements are committed well ahead of the season's principal fixtures. Any third-party costs already incurred on your behalf — accommodation, tickets, hospitality, aviation — are governed by that supplier's own terms and are payable in addition.
Bookings are for the hours agreed. Additional hours are charged pro rata and are subject to chauffeur availability and legal driving-hours limits. Routes, standby positions and set-down points are planned by us but remain subject to police direction, venue instructions, road closures and traffic conditions.
Smoking, vaping and illegal substances are not permitted in our vehicles. We ask that passengers wear seatbelts and follow the chauffeur's reasonable instructions on safety. We may end a journey where conduct places the chauffeur, passengers or the public at risk, and a charge for soiling or damage may be made at cost.
Where we arrange accommodation, dining, tickets, hospitality, helicopter or fixed-wing aviation, we act as your agent in dealing with those suppliers. Their services are provided under their own terms, and we are not liable for their acts or omissions, though we will always press your case on your behalf.
We carry appropriate motor, hire-and-reward and public liability insurance, and evidence is available on request. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited. Otherwise, our liability for any booking is limited to the fees paid for that booking, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss such as missed events or onward travel, save where caused by our negligence.
Personal property is carried at your risk. Items found in a vehicle are held securely and returned to you as soon as we are able.
We are not liable for failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, cancelled or rescheduled fixtures, industrial action, civil emergency or road closures imposed at short notice. In such cases we will offer an alternative date or refund sums not already committed to third parties.
We do not disclose client identities, itineraries or destinations to anyone. Our chauffeurs and office staff are bound by confidentiality undertakings.
If anything falls short, tell us within seven days and we will investigate personally. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
